Live sports are a key commercial driver for many OTT platforms, but managing peak traffic continues to be a major challenge. The existing ecosystem is set up with content providers on one end and operators on the other, with content delivery networks (CDNs) serving as intermediaries. However, there is minimal coordination between these entities.
